“Nah that’s a good idea. It’ll take us 20 minutes instead of 40.” Liam agrees with her idea to split up. Usually he wasn’t a fan of splitting up, but what choice did they have? “Just stay next to the river so neither of us will get lost.” He added. The last thing they needed was one of them getting off track and getting lost.

"Alright that sounds good, and if you can't walk any farther without moving away from the river, then I'd say we head back." Cassia said nodding in agreement. She was still holding her gladus and with that she began to walk off in her direction of south and part of her was hoping that she could find something, or it'd give her the chance to at least take some of the xanax she had in her pocket that she knew she'd need, especially if she had to cross the river.

Liam nodded in agreement. He really hoped one of them would find somewhere to get across the river, he really didn’t want to have Cassia get in the water. If anything he’d rather just go in himself, but it wouldn’t be the smartest idea, since he was a lot taller and larger, and if something went wrong Cassia might not be able to get him back out. He pondered on why they thought this was going to be a good idea, as he walked north along the edge of the water. He was just as curious as he was before, but at the same time he was starting to wonder if it was even worth it.

After walking for about five minutes Cass pulled her pills out and she popped them into her mouth and swallowed them before putting them back in her pocket. It'd take a bit before they stated to kick in, but the sooner the better. It was maybe another minute or two when there was a loud explosive and in the distance you could see fire back where she had come from. Immediately she began running back to where they had been originally and once she was there the buildings were on fire. "What the fuck?" Cassia said and right then and there she knew that they needed to leave. "Liam we need to go!"

Not even five minutes into the walk Liam heard explosions going off. He turned to look back from where he had come from. There was smoke billowing up along the tree line, he started running back towards the clearing. Liam reached the clearing just a couple seconds before Cassia did, and heard her yelling. “What the hell?” He mumbled.

It wasn't long before Cassia and Liam began to leave coming the way they had came with the marked trees. This whole ting was way bigger than it seemed at first and that was when the girl knew there was a reason why everything was done to protocol and she wasn't sure if she was going to break and bend the rules again. It just didn't go well now and it wasn't going to go well later. Cass led the way back watching out for any threats, when she was close enough for it to work she used the key fob to unlock the doors to the car.

Liam kept his eyes on the surrounding woods, as Cassia unlocked the car. There was another explosion, and Liam could see the smoke and some of the flames billowing up above the tree line. He took it as a warning that the two of them really needed to get going, like right now. Once the car was unlocked he climbed into the passengers seat, ready to go.
