Water and Paper Don't Mix

Nathan was sitting against a tree with a book in hand. This book is rather different from the other books that he had read, it was chock full of fairy tales and folk stories. Most people don't sit in front of a lake and sit against the tree and read fairy tales, but Nathan isn't most people. Nathan placed his page marker in the book and closed it. He decided he was going to take a break from reading for a while. He set it in his messenger's bag and walked up to the shore of the lake. He closed his eyes and took a breath and with the mist reached out to the water. He opened his eyes and they flashed a golden colored glow. Water from the lake then suddenly floated up in bubble like forms and made their way towards Nathan. He smiled as they took different shapes and forms. Some became cute little critters and other became bigger creatures like dogs and cats. It was a pretty sight to see, and it was a good way to practice control over his powers and a fun way to take a break from reading.

Lia had decided she wanted to go down to the lake. The lake was a nice spot to be. There were campers down there usually and that meant more people to talk to. When she was out by the grassy parts that was when she had decided to take her shoes off and she walked onto the shore part of the lake. At any chance she could get the daughter of Iris liked to be barefoot and feel the earth with her skin contacting it.

As she was walking along the shore line she noticed a boy manipulating water and she thought it was fascinating. When she got closer she decided to say something. "Hey! That looks really neat!" It was truly a wonder to see everyone and what they could do. Aurelia couldn't help but appreciate what powers and abilities other demigods possessed. "I'm Lia by the way!" She said in her upbeat tone and she excitedly extended her hand out for a hand shake.
