Showing off, like only Romans can do Original

Sophia stood leaning against one of the large gates to Camp Jupiter and New Rome. She was carrying a conversation with one of the gate guards about the new menu at the only good pizza place in New Rome. Every few minutes she would glance down the road to check and see if the Greek kid from Camp-Halfblood was in view yet. But so far, he wasn't.

Sophia had been tasked to lead this greek camper around Camp Jupiter and New Rome in order to compare training and stuff like that. Though, Sophia would have rather be spending the day at her house in her bed watching Netflix on her only day off this month. Unfortunately she was the only Centurion who wasn't neck deep in duties today, so she had too.

Nathan shifted nervously in the back of the truck that he was in. He had never been to Camp Jupiter, but he had to go and evaluate their training and social areas and compare them to Camp Hald-Blood's. A camper from Camp Jupiter had gone to Camp Half-Blood to do the same thing. It was a trade of sorts, to try to get more of each other's cultures and training into the camps, in order to enhance both camps.

He looked out the window and saw Caldecott tunnel in the distance, or rather the people guarding the entrance. He was told the Centurion of the 2nd Cohort would be his guide for the trip. He hoped that this didn't annoy her too much and that they got along well, because if they didn't like him enough and made the trip bad. It could ruin the plans to make the camps better and more enriched.

Sophia looked over at the road one more time, "Finally!" she mumbled under her breath, she was starting to think that the kid would be late. She watched as the truck came closer and closer until it was stopping directly in front of her. Sophia eyed the kid who jumped out of the back. He didn't seem like to much of a hassle, but she still gave him, her best, 'I-really-care-but-not-actually' smile. She stuck her hand out for him to shake. "I'm Sophia Virgo, cohort 2 centurion. You're stuck with me for the rest of the day." Sophia said with a small smirk, she was sure he probably felt the same way about having to come here as she did having to give up her day off.
